Cool Meadows Farm offers safe, enjoyable, memorable, and multi-leveled equine riding lessons. Our riding instructors are encouraging and experienced riders and horse handlers. Our students are taught how to care for horses or ponies and horse saftey. They become great riders because Cool Meadows teaches them to gain confidence on horses.

Lesson Levels

Beginner Lessons
1 hour long lessons that introduce students to basic horse riding, learn about tack and equiment, how to mount, walk, trot, and stop (halt), steering, grooming, proper form and balance, riding seat. Beginner lessons are recommended to adults and children 6 years old and above.

Intermediate/Advanced Lessons
1 hour long lessons that move students onto to trotting, cantering, jumping, and riding courses. Students are also taught advanced horsemanship knowledge and skills.

Lead Line Lessons
Lead line lessons that introduce students to young sudents to become comfortable and gain confidence on a horse.
