About Cool Meadows Horse Center:

40 years of equine experience, with a combination of breeding, training, instruction, and showing (on the county, state, and national circuits), allows us to provide a broad range of quality expertise to you, your family, and/or your clients. 

A family business since 1965, we’re currently offering boarding, training, summer camp and year-round riding instruction.  Our instructors have over 80 years of experience.  Our lesson horses are well trained and range from mature, dependable mounts to more advanced, challenging projects.  We teach hunt seat, balanced seat, and offer low-level dressage instruction. 

Our personal philosophies vary, but we make a sincere effort to instill confidence, promote safety, and propagate a positive attitude in all our students and campers.  We offer lessons every evening, on weekends, and throughout every season of the year.  We team our beginners with more experienced riders to create a team environment where the less experienced rider learns from one who has successfully overcome various equestrian challenges. 

Our summer camp runs for 8 weeks every summer and offers a morning riding program and afternoon recreation in and by the pool.  You have the option of registering for one week, several throughout the summer, or all eight.  Limited before and after camp care is available.  We are fully certified by the State of Maryland and are continuously making an effort to upgrade our facility and equine staff.
